7th Annual International Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day - 10 February 2009

For over one million Australian's who have made the transition from paid employment to working in their own home-based businesses, International Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day (February 10) is a time to celebrate.

Now in its seventh year, International Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day celebrates the freedom enjoyed by home-based business operators - including being able to work in their bathrobe if they wish.

International Doing Business in your Bathrobe Day is now celebrated in countries including Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Canada and United States.

The bathrobe is symbolic of the freedoms home-based business operators enjoy, so much so that in some countries, including Australia, International Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day is celebrated across the entire month of February.

I want to know what are the greatest freedoms people have gained working from home.

In previous years, Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day was held on a Monday. February 10 is a Tuesday - so is the plan to hold it on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, this year?

Now that's a good point Bev. February 10 is listed as the date in a list of holidays I received, but of course that is a Tuesday. I have just emailed the founder of Doing Business in Your Bathrobe Day, Kristie T, to get the definitive answer. I'll keep you posted (and change the date if need be!)
